Ahmed one final away from the European KFJ title

Columns: Races
The British RFM driver put in a stunning performance in the KFJ prefinal at PFI to start the final on pole.

After Beckmann seemed able to run away with the, win, Ahmed bridge the gap from the German driver to make the pass stick with a fine move half way through the race. Scary first lap crash for German lady driver Sophia Floersch, who seemed to have a broken right ankle as a result.
Superb race also by Rokas Baciuska, Mick Junior and Max Fewtrell after an exciting scrap, while Dan Ticktum is in contention for 3rd in the first part of the race but drops down to 12th in the latter stages. Local driver Josh Smith pulls off a stunning comeback making up as many as 19 positions to close 14th.
