The Rotax Summer Shootout, originally scheduled for June 27-29 at Miller Motorsports Park, will be extended by one day to provide additional practice times for competitors.
The event was initially planned for three days, as a warm-up for seven Rotax classes in advance of the Rotax MAX Challenge United States Grand Nationals on July 19-20, but feedback from participants requesting more practice time prompted the addition of an extra day on Thursday, June 26.
“We have really enjoyed our outstanding relationship with the MAXSpeed Group, which organizes the Rotax MAX Challenge United States Grand Nationals,” said Justin Bloxham, “and we want to do everything we can to help racers prepare for this year’s Grand Nationals. Our racers have told us they would appreciate an additional day of practice for the Rotax Summer Shootout, and we are happy to oblige.”
