The second-last race of the WSK

TONY KART RACING TEAM
WSK SERIES, 6th round Zuera (E), 24/27 September 2009
The second-last race of the WSK International Series was led in KF2 by the Japanese driver Yu
Kanamaru.

In KF2 the Tony Kart Racing Team and all our team partners proved, on the difficult track near
Saragoza, the great potential of the technical material at their disposal.
One of our Racer EVR, with D’Agosto, gained the first position at the end of the rounds, with two victories.
In the final, the drivers using a Tony Kart chassis and more precisely Pescador (Sportkart Vendrell),
Cooper (Tony Kart Junior Team), D’Agosto and Kanamaru had to face with opponents to be feared such as
Jhonhanson, Sami and the World Cup Winner Da Luz.
At the end of an exciting fight, our Japanese driver got the better of the British driver Lock, of the Tony
Kart Junior Team.
The fantastic success of our technical material has been confirmed by the presence of five Tony Kart
chassis, Racer EVR model, in the first five positions.
However the category title has been gained with great advance by Ben Cooper, belonging to the Tony
Kart Junior Team
In Super KF, our team worked especially on specific solutions suitable to the particular characteristics of
the final, 40 km instead of the 25 Km of the other categories.
With this kind of conditions the drivers and the whole team have to concentrate their work on the
safeguard of the material on long distances, this is particularly important for tires because they must be
good also in the last stage of race, the crucial one.
The long bends of the track in Zuera represent not only an important testing bench but also the last test
before the forthcoming World Championship.
At the end of the heats Gary Catt started from the first line nearby the Kosmic Kart-Vortex Armand
Convers.
During the race the performances of our material were up to the first positions and Catt, in the end,
stepped on to the podium in second position.
In the shift category, the KZ2, our official driver Marco Ardigò fight until the end against Lammers for
gaining the category title. In the end, after a positive start in the heats, our rival had the better on the
track in Zuera.
The Spanish race has been for us the last European event in KZ, for this season. Our Racing Team will go
down to the track in the shift category, from 18th to 22nd of November on occasion of the spectacular
XIII Super National in Las Vegas.
