ART Grand Prix to take the Winter Cup by storm

As many as 16 drivers – 8 of the factory team and 8 of the Official teams – will wear the ART Grand Prix colours at the 19th Winter Cup in Lonato, Italy, the coming weekend and will try to confirm the outstanding 1-2 in KZ2 of the previous edition.


Following the positive weekend for ART Grand Prix Rotax team at the Rotax Winter Cup in Campillos (E) on 16th February - with DD2 driver Xen de Ruwe claiming 2nd in prefinal and 7th in final - the ART Grand Prix boys will take the Italian circuit by storm to contend the first important victory of the season as it happened in 2013 when Leclerc and Hanley hit a brilliant 1st and 2nd in KZ2.


Next to the Factory Team that will field Hanley and Torsellini in KZ2, Okada and Sette Camara in KF, Haikal, Lazzaroni, Smith and Ye in KFJ, five Official Teams will join the ART Grand Prix squad, which will make a total of 16 entries in the three categories.

In KZ2, Luca Tilloca of R.O.A. Team will go for glory on his brand new ART Grand Prix chassis sided by Vladislav Kurakin of ART Grand Prix Russia and by fellow countryman Massimo Mazzali of LKB Team.

In KF, up and coming Finn Tuomas Tujula of ART Grand Prix Finland – who proved very competitive already in 2013 - will defend ART Grand Prix colours with his teammates Paavo Tonteri, Patrik Pasma and Teemu Savoilanen who will have a first taste of international racing in KFJ, alongside Nikita Sitnikov of Team Komarov.
