"Discounted engine package for first ten drivers to register for entire series"

February 3, 2014 - With the goal to become the premiere national series throughout the eastern half of the country, the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) continues to evolve and provide incentives for series teams and drivers. Teaming up with OTK USA and Vortex, the USPKS program and three teams/engine builders have provided a limited opportunity for Vortex Mini Rok participants looking to compete in the 2014 campaign.

"We are pleased to work with Andre, OTK USA and Vortex," explained Series Owner Mark Coats. "Together, they have been nothing but helpful in working with us to establish a solid marketing campaign for the Mini Rok program. With the Vortex brand strong in other parts of the country, the USPKS will look to bring the engine platform to the national level on the east coast and help it gain popularity throughout the Midwest."

For series participants that sign up and pay for the four-event weekend United States Pro Kart Series up front, they will have the opportunity to purchase a Vortex Mini Rok complete package for $500.00 less than retail at $1550.00 from one of three locations and supporters of the series. Engines can be purchased from only Woltjer Race Engines, Franklin Kart and Comet Kart Sales at the discounted price.

Coats added, "Daniel Wolter, Jamie Sieracki and Mark Dismore were strong supporters of the series in 2013 and have plans to bring their teams to the program in 2014. With their support, they helped kick the USPKS program off and this is a way that we can give back to them. With the chance to sell engine packages and possibly provide some engine rebuild work, it is a win win for everyone involved."

Franklin Kart's Jamie Sieracki continued, "Mark runs a great program and competitors in the Mini Rok class are the future of our sport. Being able to give back to them and help them purchase an engine package at a discounted price will go a long way in the future."

"The USPKS is gaining momentum with each and every media release they distribute," added Mark Dismore of Comet Kart Sales. "They have a defined class structure, they listen to their customers and provide the track time that is needed to lower the cost per lap. The Mini Rok offer for the first ten series participants is just another way that they are gaining market share."

"I look forward to servicing my customers at 2014 events," explained Daniel Woltjer. "With this new promotion offered by USPKS and Vortex, I am confident that the Mini Rok field will be strong and continue to grow throughout the year."

The Vortex Mini Rok engine promotion will begin Monday February 3, 2014 and will continue until the first event weekend of the series. Qualifies will need to be a USPKS member and register for the 2014 series in advance to have the opportunity to purchase a discounted engine. Please remember that this offer is only available for the first ten competitors.
