Following the controversial ending in Bahrain, Alessio Lorandi's world junior title was confirmed by the International Court of Appeal.

The hearing of the International Court of Appeal, called to decice on Nikita Mazepin's appeal to the 10" penalty he received after the final in Bahrain, confirmed the penalty to the Russian driver who crossed the white line with all four wheels grabbing 2nd at the chequered flag.
This results in Lorandi advancing to 2nd in the final order, and 1st in the championship standings.

The Court, after having heard the parties and examined their submissions, decided to uphold the Decision n°26 of the Stewards of the Bahrain event counting towards the 2013 CIK-FIA KF Junior World Championship.
