Davide Forè on CRG-Tm in a qualifying heat of KZ2 (Ph. Davide Pastanella).
KZ2 qualifying heats confirm the winning performance of Davide Forè on CRG-Tm of Team DTK that gained a front row start for the Prefinal. Unlucky qualifying for Dionisios and Kostantinos in KF Junior. Top ten finish in 60 Mini for Gamoto Racing's Bogdan and Muizzuddin on CRG/Hero.
Front row start for Davide Forè who is a candidate to the final win. This is the first response in KZ2 at the end of the very close eve of the WSK Final Cup's closing round of the season that wants to celebrate its champions in Castelletto di Branduzzo. The Italian driver, on CRG-TM with team DTK (the team he competed with throughout the season), put in very strong performances in free practice first and qualifying heats then, which earned him a front row start in the Prefinal.
After getting close to the pole position in qualifying at just 2 thousands from Mirko Torsellini – who is racing for Art GP in this round – Davide Forè has been absolute protagonist in the three qualifying heats with a win, a second and a third place. In other words, he has always been on top and ready to run a promising final stage that will decide the winner on Sunday. Forè's weekend will now continue with the Prefinal on Sunday morning, where he will get away from the front row together with his strongest rival, Patrik Hajek who obtained two wins and a second place, and then it will reach its conclusion in the afternoon with the Final.
DIONISIOS AND KOSTANTINOS A BIT DELAYED IN KFJ
Quite unlucky day for the two youngsters of CRG works team competing in KF Junior: the Romanian driver Marcu Dionisios and the Greek Kostantinos at his debut in KFJ, both on CRG-Tm. Dionisios suffered some technical problems and a couple of race incidents, while Kostantinos had to skip the final heat due to a pain in the arm following an incident at the start. The two drivers will partake in the Prefinal with the objective of securing a place for the Final.
In KF Junior, Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-Parilla) has been the best in qualifying heats, in KF Matteo Viganò (Top Kart-Parilla) topped the charts as did Marciej Szyszko (Kosmic-Lke) in 60 Mini. The result of the heats also awards the drivers in force at team Gamoto Racing that managed to get into the top ten out of the 49 drivers competing in 60 Mini: Fetisov Bogdan is currently fourth, while Abdul Gafar Muizzuddin is seventh, both on CRG/Hero-Lke.
