The first edition of the International Winter Ciak will be held on 19 - 20th October and 30th November - 1st December. The format will be the same of the championship that already takes place on the Italian circuit, with the difference that it will be open also to foreign drivers.
Technical regulations (including Vega Blue tyres for all classes but 60cc where Cadet tyres are used) currently in place for Ciak will be applied also to the international event. A vast array of categories, including 60 Mini, 60 Baby, KF3, TaG, SuperTaG, KZ Under35, KZ Over35 (split between 175kg and 190kg) will be available. Differently from Ciak, 4-stroke and 100cc categories will not be included, and KF2 will be fielded jointly with SuperTaG.
Race program will be divided as follows: free practice and qualifying on Saturday morning, qualifying heats on Saturday afternoon, warm-up, 2nd chance heats, Race 1 and 2 on Sunday.
The track will also be available of Friday for free practice. Entry lists do not provide a maximum number of drivers, and it is possible to enter the event up until Friday before the race. Entry fee is 169 euro, including two days of track time and two finals.
Prizes include equipment (chassis, engines, etc.) for a total amount of 40,000 euro.
On a final note, the event is raced in memory of Julie Tonelli, the French kart driver involved in a fatal accident few years ago, jointly with the Julie Tonelli Foundation, which helps needy children.
