The two prefinals of the World KF Championship opening round saw the Dutch and the Dane grab a trouble free win in the respective prefinals.
Particularly impressive was the Crg driver’s performance, the only one of the two prefinals to lap below the 54”5 mark piling up a massive 3” advantage by the chequered flag.
Row 2 for Hanley (ART Grand Prix/Tm) and Basz (Tony Kart/Vortex) both looking very strong in the respective prefinal. Row 3 for Hansen (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Stroll (Zanardi/Tm), then Barnicoat (ART Grand Prix/Tm) who ends the first prefinal in 4th place and Boccolacci (Energy/Tm) off from row 4.
Great effort by Russo (Kosmic/Vortex) 6th from 13th on starting grid, and his teammate Convers, 16th from the back of the grid after receiving the green light from the meds.
Tiene (Crg/Parilla) performs well in the second prefinal, fighting for 4th till the end, and Corberi does well to make the cut from the back of the grid.
