Potty to start from pole in the Academy Trophy

In the single-make trophy by Parolin/Fim, the young Belgian driver who won the opening round in Genk stopped the fastest time in qualifying and went on to win one heat and grabbing 2nd in the other.

Thanks to these results, Potty will start Race 1 from pole sided by Russian driver Petrov, who stopped 2nd fastest time in qualifying then grabbing a win and a 3rd place in the heats. Also the Brasilian driver Pedro Piquet, son of 3-time F1 World Champion Nelson, had a positive heat session with one win and a 4th place to start from row 2 next to Italian driver Edoardo Tolfo (2nd and 3rd in the heats).
