In the first KZ2 prefinal on schedule, title contender Riccardo Negro (DR/Tm) is forced to retire in lap 2 (probably an engine ceasure), Zanchetta drops down to 17th and will recover all the way up to 12th after a contact. And the win goes to Schmitz.
