Lando Norris who dominated the Junior heats on Saturday loses the leadership in the first lap, taken by Thai driver Chaimongkol. Two laps later he would also drop few more positions taken by van Leeuwen, Aubry and Beckmann. The speed is clearly there and so the young Brit regains 3rd where he would finish just ahead of Alessio Lorandi, the Italian having started from 10th.
The second prefinal is dominated by Belgian driver Raspatelli, with Shwartzmann, Thompson and Sette Camara fighting for 2nd place all the way through.
The first KF final is a blast. Barnicoat leads the pack off the green lights but he’s unable to pull away. Stroll and Boccolacci follow him, and the two will finish reversed in 2nd and 3rd. The real action maker is nevertheless Verstappen, who from P6 on starting grid moves up to 3rd behind Kodric in the early stages. Barnicoat cannot stand the pressure and drops down to 5th behind Tiene, the two making contact with one lap to go and dropping to midfield. Also Kodric is unable to withstand the pressure and gets taken by Verstappen at the halfway point, and by Boccolacci in the final laps, also Stroll and Joyner sneaking in.
The second KF final is not as exciting with Sorensen grabbing the lead in the second lap and moving on to take the win. Nielsen shadows him for big part of the race but lacks the speed to move past him.
