The Baltic Rok Cup hits the road

Do not miss the opportunity to test your strength with an international field of Rok drivers. For the 2009 edition of the Baltic Rok Cup, Rok Cup DK partnered with Grindsted Karting club. Grindsted Karting club have extensive experience in organizing major races such as the Danish Super Kart and the Danish Championship. In addition, Vortex will support the race 100%, assisting the organization in all areas.
The first “Danish Winter Rok Cup” will be held in Grindsted on 3-5th April

The aim is to start what it is hoped will become a recurring event, where all Rok drivers have the opportunity to match their skills at the beginning of the season. Also, the organization seeks to evolve to be a part of the Rok calendar across Europe. To make an international event, there are plans to hold one round in Poznan (Poland) with international participation. The Baltic Cup will be raced under international rules, but adapted to national rules such as:
minimum 10 years of age for Mini Rok drivers; minimum 12 years of age for Rok Junior drivers; previous homologation chassis or nationally accredited chassis must meet the same requirements as new homologated chassis; 90 cm and 101 cm chassis wheelbase allowed in Mini Rok; possibility to practice both on Thursday and Friday prior to the race; qualifying races are held on Saturday, and finals on Sunday.
Practice Friday is included in the entry fee. The first “Danish Winter Rok Cup” will be held in Grindsted on 3-5th April.
