Jack Harvey has signed a contract with Birel Motorsport. The young British talent, winner of the European KF3 Championship title and the Open Masters with the Maranello team, will wear the Birel colours already at the Asia-Pacific KF3 Championship in Macau on 14-16th December. In 2008 Jack will switch to KF2, and the following year he will likely race in KF1. ‘I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such well-organized and winning team,’ said Harvey. ‘I’m looking forward to race in Macau, it’s the best way to get to know the team, in preparation of next season, when I’ll race in KF2.’
As a sign of continuity, Jack’s old mechanic Alan Mackay will support him in 2008, which will see the Brit attending all the major international events, starting with the Winter Cup, the Margutti Trophy, the WSK, the European and the Asia–Pacific Championship in Suzuka.
