KSP awarded by Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat

- News and Previews

Organised for the 6th time in 2012 by the Chambre régionale des Métiers et de l’Artisanat (Regional Chamber of Crafts) of the Île de France, in partnership with the Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, the purpose of the Stars & Métiers competition is to promote knowledge of different professions as well competences which are often too little known by the general public, in addition to highlighting all the efforts and involvement of the different partners in preserving, supporting and promoting craft, which is the leading enterprise in France.

A jury composed of 15 representatives of the Chamber of Crafts and 2 people from the Banque Populaire thoroughly examined the 90 applications. KSP Reportages is very proud of this great honour, the departmental award (Val de Marne) in the Dynamique Commerciale category attributed at the award-giving ceremony held in Paris, at the Maison des Arts et Métiers.
«I am deeply honoured to have won this award, of a totally new kind for me» explained Philippe Kalmès. «Usually our photographs win prizes! In this case, it is a totally different thing, a long-term endeavour carried out day after day, since the enterprise establishment in 2001. At the beginning, I only took karting pictures that I sold to drivers. Then KSP Reportages diversified into communication with Kartcom, the Web site with Kartinside, and today several people cooperate with us. This award is also for the whole team. We are really pleased to see our work recognised by such important institutions. I would also like to thank our customers both in France and abroad for their loyalty, including the CIK-FIA (Fédération internationale de karting), the FFSA (Fédération Française du Sport Automobile), the Fondation Julie Tonelli pour l’Enfance, as well as constructors, racing teams and drivers.»

«Just like in races, KSP Reportages’ success is constantly challenged in a highly competitive environment, where passion for quality remains the best asset. I regret not having been able to attend the Stars & Métiers award ceremony, but I am glad that my wife Cristina - who is also one of KSP key elements - came to receive the award in my place. I would also like to thank the Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, which started this excellent initiative, and in particular Miss Else Claire».
