The unstable weather certainly had an impact on the European Championships finals held at the Bavarian circuit in Wackersdorf. Besides the rain, the KZ1 final has been the most exciting of the weekend providing a lot of drama. Ardigò made his move at the right time, and not even row 1 starter Pex managed to stay with him. But drama unfolded at the weighting procedure, with the Italian driver found underweight as a result of a fuel leek. When you say bad luck… just like for Paolo De Conto, forced out for an engine failure while leading. Much less excitement in KZ2 and KF2 finals. Juodvirsis kept the lead at the start in KZ2 and went on with an easy win after a faultless final. In KF2, Leclerc grabbed Race 1 final in the wet, while Verstappen dominated Race 2. We will have to wait the second round at PF International in the UK on 22nd July to know the name of the 2012 champion.
