The first round of the World KF1 Championship held at Suzuka ends with lots of excitement and some controversy. Starting with Camponeschi that drops down to 14th right after the start, and then the duel between Verstappen and Tiene for the win, which results in the two making contact at the last lap, and Forè taking full advantage to grab the win.

A very intense final race in Suzuka, also thanks to the massive recovery of Basz, who made full use of his new set of tyres – which he didn’t use in Race 3 due to his retirement on lap 3 – to finish 4th, and that of Camponeschi, who after an abysmal start managed to grab the podium behind Sasaki. Too bad for Tiene, as the Crg driver lost the chance to arrive in Macao for the second and decisive round still in contention. Great opportunity for 4-time World Champ Forè, who thanks to the win bags 25 points and can have a say in the title fight – and everyone knows how much this means to the Italian driver. But Forè will have to beat the spectacular Camponeschi, and considering the points difference, it would take an almost unprecedented comeback.
