Though all eyes are focussed on Suzuka this weekend, the Japanese event will not close the 2011 season of the CIK-FIA Championships.
Two Championships have yet to be completed this year: the CIK-FIA Asia-Pacific Championships for the KF1 and KF3 categories. The final events in these Championships will take place at Macao on 8-11 December 2011. On the Thursday, the Drivers will be invited to take part in free practice and scrutineering. The whole of the Friday will be devoted to non-qualifying practice, followed the next day by the qualifying practice and heats. On the Sunday, the Drivers will take part in their last heats in the morning and the final phase in the afternoon.
As usual, the Automobile General Association Macao-China – the local ASN, which is also the organiser of the race – offers special conditions for foreign competitors, in particular for accommodation, and for customs formalities and the transfer of equipment between the port of arrival and the circuit, not to mention the provision of paddock tents. For further information, contact Mr Patrick Castro by e-mail: aamc@macau.ctm.net
The same race meeting will also include the finals of the AKOC Championship of the Asian Zone.
