The CIK-FIA World Karting Championship deciding round is currently taking place in Suzuka, Japan... new fastest drivers in non-qualifying practice sessions. By the looks of it, weather conditions have not been ideal the whole day...

5 Non-qualifying practice sessions
Session 3 – three fastest drivers: Groman (58”852), Bailly (60”146), Watatani (60”666)
Title contenders: De Vries (No time), Albon (No time), Camponeschi (No time)

Session 4 – three fastest drivers: De Vries (58”283), Basz (60”275), Watatani (61”070)
Title contenders: Albon (No time), Camponeschi (No time)

Session 5 – three fastest drivers: Groman (57”353), De Vries (57”417), Bailly (57”861)
Title contenders: Albon (4th – 58”251), Camponeschi (No time)

Session 6 – three fastest drivers: Camponeschi (58”767), Watatani (62”049)
Title contenders: De Vries (No time), Albon (No time)

Session 7 – three fastest drivers: No time


Saturday 12th, all drivers will be busy with Qualifying practice in the morning and Final 1 and 2 in the afternoon, while Sunday 13th the decisive Qualifying and 2 finals of the championship will be held.

To note, that De Vries leads the championship by 18 points over Albon, and 38 over Camponeschi.
