Viktor Gustafsson (CRG/TM) was fastest in KZ qualifying at Le Mans, just as he was when he won his first World Championship here in 2022. Maksim Orlov was second, while reigning World Champion Senna Van Walstijn could only manage eighth. The Karting Grand Prix was held at Le Mans as a preparation race ahead of the World Championship, scheduled for September 17-20, following a long week of testing. The factory teams fine-tuned their packages over a closely fought race weekend, condensed into Saturday and Sunday, with many of the expected competitive values confirmed, despite the usual unpredictability of karting.
