The 100cc karting elite helped to provide a welcome spectacle for this year’s CKR 100cc Euro Grand Prix, which took place at Denmark’s Vojens Motorsport Arena, which in turn had the perfect event to celebrate it’s 60th anniversary.

The Euro Grand Prix is back, and this year it’s celebrating the track’s 60th anniversary. On the last weekend in August, Europe’s 100cc Gokart elite meet at Vojens Motorsport Arena (www.vma.dk) to a blast from an international go-kart tree. An event which draws some of the biggest 100cc racers from all over Europe.
For 2023 a lot of new ideas have been added to make the Euro Grand Prix one huge party for both drivers and spectators.

This is just a summary of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals, now at its 18th edition and still continues to grow. The winners this time were French drivers Iglesias (Micro) and Armand (Mini), Holland’s Van der Helm (Junior) and Britain’s Ward (Senior), Australians Gillis (DD2) and Woolston (DD2 Masters).

Given the importance of the result, it seems right to focus on him: Alex Irlando, 16 year old driver from Italy, takes the Senior crown after a perfect, careful, impeccable final, one of substance. An ending that capped an equally exciting weekend, which would have been in itself remarkable, even without the final victory.
