The tremendous disaster that hit Fukushima in Japan no longer than two months ago was particularly striking. Even more amazing was the reaction of the Japanese, worthy of mention that of Ukyo Sasahara, one of the most prominent Rotax Junior drivers in the world. We tribute our cover story to his outstanding performance and admirable conduct at the Rotax Euro Challenge opener in Genk, also featuring a special interview to Ukyo.

RACE REPORT – Rotax Euro Challenge Rnd.1
The opening round of the 2011 Rotax Euro Challenge was hosted by the prominent Karting Genk circuit, where the level of the competition has undoubtedly lifted up from the previous season. The event was commended by many drivers and teams as being the most competitive in international Max racing.
