Another win for ART/Zip in X30 at the final LGM tour race at PFI last weekend as Zip/ART karts took positions 1, 2 & 3 on the grid for the final that saw 36 drivers vying for victory in this ultra-competitive new class.
Elliot Harvey suffered an early technical problem that put pay to his challenge for the win having shared the front row for the final. Tom Douglas had shown great pace all weekend, and held 3rd place for the majority of the final and was very unlucky not to get on the podium. Josh Smith took the win in the final with a great overtake on the final lap.
The win means that Zip/ART drivers have won 5 out of the 7 X30 LGM rounds and Zip/ART drivers have been on the podium at every LGM in 2014.
Zip Kart have a limited number of spaces in their team for 2015 for both Junior and Senior X30 drivers. Interested competitors should contact Zip Kart on 01327 855310 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss their requirements.
The Zip team will now head to the X30 World Finals in Le Mans France with drivers Josh Smith and Oliver York both hoping to take the world title.
