ART Grand Prix is happy to welcome Belgian sensation Ulysse De Pauw in the official ART Grand Prix Factory Team for the final part of this season, the 2015 season and onwards.
The 13-year-old from Grez-Doiceau already stood out in the first half of the season with impressive performances in the European Championship, becoming a major contender to be reckoned with at all circuits across Europe.
The young Belgian driver will wear the official ART Grand Prix Factory Team colours in occasion of the CIK-FIA World KFJ Championship to be held at Essay, France on 17-21st September, the WSK Final Cup, scheduled at Adria Raceway, Italy, on 1-2nd November, the last two major events on the European calendar.
Also, De Pauw will close the season at the exciting SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas, USA, the highlight street race of the season featuring the best of European and American drivers scheduled on 21-23 November.
Please, note that Ulysse De Pauw will be an official driver also in 2015 and onwards.
“This long-term agreement with ART Grand Prix is a big step forward in my career,” stated an enthused De Pauw. “It’s going to be a big challenge for me but together we will do our best to win. My motivation is enormous! I didn’t expect to race for such a professional Team so early in my career but I will do my best to prove that I deserve this unique opportunity.
I already did two test sessions with ART Grand Prix and I appreciate both their professionalism and the atmosphere in the Team, which will help me to move from a small but efficient Belgian team to one of the most impressive karting Teams in the world.
I’m also happy to join the ART GP family, like my Belgian friend and supporter Stoffel Vandoorne, racing with ART Grand Prix in GP2.”
