Brilliant weekend for DR Racing at the WSK Final Cup, one of the last remaining European karting events of the season. In a fantastic crescendo, following the superb double on the World Cup for KZ2 podium in Sarno, Danilo Rossi’s team grabs yet another title with Riccardo Negro.

DR weekend in Castelletto di Braduzzo (Italy) starts with a good 6th in KZ2 qualifying for Negro. The Italian driver continues with unwavering performances in the heats, finishing 5th, 3rd and 1st to start from pole in the prefinal. The competition is fast, and Negro loses few positions to end 4th, but final start is quite positive for him as Abbasse – ready to go from front row - is forced to leave the grid due to mechanical problems and Negro has clear road ahead to shadow the leader at the first turn.
The pressure from behind is great, and the DR driver gets passed a few laps later by a very fast Hajek – who will get 10” penalty just like his teammate and first at the chequered flag Bas Lammers due to a jump start – but manages to keep in close and inherit a deserved win.
